Flux changes as the phones rings Why should I care after all was gone All these emotions take control All I wanted was the rain to pour Accepted the offer without a thought Now I’m torn with your lies The day changed without glee Turning the crank as the world fears Creating my own confusion Every time the chalk is left behind The rain ruins your day and I smile away It’s valentines day and I’m drunk again Turning the crank as the world knows It’s valentines day and I’m drunk again The phone rings as I hang up It’s five am and I know who I am Yeah now go…

Take a dive feel the air Not knowing if it feels alright Should I just fall asleep Try to breath standing still Cryptic thoughts invade my mind Music turns up and I miss a beat While the birds just sing our songs Try to hold your eyes when I drown Clouds are over cast Blues are chased away Hearts are put aside Feet stand still as I fall when I take a dive Cryptic thoughts invade my mind Music turns up and I miss a beat While the birds just sing our songs Try to hold your eyes when I drown What is there to say when I feel so alone Can you hold me once again, 3 months been too long Since I touched your lips Since I touched your lips

I just take it once a year, standing at your doorstep with my pants around my eyes Cause I know all my lies, don’t keep on feeding what I have to say Now I know just, I say too much Then I’ll just take it once again, why do I say all too much Then I’ll take it all again, why should I just shed a tear for you For you, for you, for you All these illusions create my, delusions just turn you on our way Why do you just say my lies, as my fantasies include you Why do you just peel with care, when I fake without a care And I know, that I just say too much to get your eyes on Then I’ll just take it once again, why do I say all too much Then I’ll take it all again, why should I just shed a tear for you All these stories come to an end, come to an end Maybe that’s my way of redemption, redemption…… That’s why I say too much All my delusions come to an end, when these stories fail to lie Then I’ll just come when I know why, I’ll have you weighing all my lies with your dice Just say too much Then I’ll take it all again, when I say all too much My stories just come to an end, when all the crimes say all too much I’ll just take it all again, when I say too much I’ll just take it all again, when these lies become too much

Sad Song 02:09
Sitting on the border of life Glazed in a white candy coating Alone again in the primordial grease Trying to ponder Trying to ponder if caring is not the key At least then my actions would be explained Shouldn’t there be Shouldn’t there be Sad song Hopelessly doomed A smile for you Waiting for the hands of night What’s there to move when I’m sitting still Trying to ponder If 30 years is too late It won’t matter if I take a drink It won’t matter if I remember to forget Remember to forget Remember to forget Sad song Hopelessly doomed A smile for you Take me with you Take me with you Take me with you Take me with you Remember to forget Remember to forget Remember to forget Remember to forget Forget

Tension builds up, As I go Away Smoke rises up, As I know my way New times settle in, And I’m left behind Violent urges kick in, And I’m left behind I just wanted to see you through, Without having to look away I just wanted to say hello, Instead I shut myself and how Having no mind, Of my own Seeing what causes to rip us apart, As I light your way Strands keep on falling off, And I’m left behind Not knowing where to turn, And I’m left behind I just wanted to see you through, Without having to look away I just wanted to say hello, Instead I shut myself and how I know why, I know when I just wanted to know, You just wanted to see

The Afrosheens Boston, Massachusetts

The Afrosheens is a solo project by multi-instrumentalist Afshin Beheshti, creating an atmospheric musical journey into what he calls his one-man empire of sound.
